Karen is the Office Administrator and has been with Dr. Harper since 1997. She began her career in dentistry in 1980. She truly enjoys helping people smile and overcome any fears they may have in achieving their treatment and getting a beautiful smile. She takes pride in her position and working with a well-qualified team and with patients that are more like a family! Karen moved from South Florida to Marion County in 1997 and has been married for 35 years, with a daughter and son. Her other passion outside of dentistry is horses. She and her husband own a Thoroughbred Farm in Reddick where they breed, raise, sell and sometimes race Thoroughbreds.
Lori is a dental hygienist at Dr. Harpers office. She started her career as a dental assistant in 1986. She then went to Dental Hygiene school at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, graduating with honors in 1991. She received her certificate to administer anesthesia in 2013. She has been with Dr. Harper since 1992. She continues her education continuously while attending many courses with Dr. Harper and the rest of the team throughout the year.
Lori and her husband, Barry, have been married since 2008. She has two sons, Aaron and Dylan. She also has two step children and two grandchildren. She enjoys her time outside of work spending it with family. She also enjoys boating, motorcycle riding, scrapbooking, and her two dogs and six chickens. Lori enjoys coming to work every day, as she feels the ones that she works with are her second family. She looks forward to coming to work every day because she knows that it will be a great day, with a great boss and a great team.
Michelle is a dental hygienist at Dr. Harpers Office. Michelle started her career in Bergen County New Jersey as a DANB certified dental assistant in 2006. She graduated from Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida in 2012 with high honors in Dental Hygiene and later received her certificate to administer anesthesia in 2015. Michelle is passionate about providing care to her patients as if they were family.
Michelle and her husband, Steve, married in 2012 and have lived in New Jersey, Georgia, and Florida. Michelle enjoys spending time with her family which includes her daughter, Ellie, who was born November 2017 and her horse, Prado, miniature donkeys, Honky Tonk and Pink Floyd, dog, Astro, and cat, Ziggy.
Pam has been working with Dr. Harper and his team for 13 years. She has been a dental assistant for 33 years. She is originally from Michigan, moving to Florida 36 years ago calling Ocala her home for the past 14 years.
Pam has her Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Certification and attends many continuing education and advanced courses in all areas of dentistry and team building. She takes great pride in helping Dr. Harper provide the best care for his patients making them feel comfortable and confidential with their care in the office.
Pam has been married for 34 years and has two children, Max and Rachel. She enjoys traveling with their RV, biking, kayaking, and going to many racing events as well as many beautiful places.
Mary Ann has been in the field of dentistry for 18 years. She began her career in the field with an entry level position. She has since cross trained for many positions in the office and enjoys every facet of the dental field. Mary Ann attended the University of Florida School of Dentistry where she received her radiology certificate. She plans to further her studies in the field of Cosmetic Dentistry. She also attended and has taken continuing educational courses such as “Dental Boot Kamp”, “Mission Possible Hygiene”, “TOPS (Total Patient Service)” and attended the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. These classes are geared towards the dental professional to help them achieve superior customer service. She is also proud to be a part of the Crown Council organization, especially the “Smiles For Life” charity that has touched so many children and families.
Mary Ann is a lifelong resident of Ocala. She has two beautiful daughters. Mary Ann loves helping people achieve their most healthy and beautiful smile!
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Tracy has been a dental assistant for 24 years. Originally from Tennessee, she moved to Florida 33 years ago. Tracy received her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting certificate through The University of Florida. She has been with Dr. Harper and the team since August 2010. Tracy has enjoyed becoming a part of such an outstanding practice and team. She is enjoying the continuing education that has come from being a part of “Crown Council”. Since being with Dr. Harper, Tracy has earned many more certificates in expanding her career. Tracy has been married to her husband Al for 6 years and has two wonderful children, Erika 17 and Jace 13 and her Goldendoodle, Judge. She enjoys camping and hunting with her family. Her free time is spent raising an herb garden.
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Frankie is an Ocala native, running six generations deep in Marion County. Frankie started seeing Dr. Harper as a patient at the age of three and has now been working for him for three years. She has truly enjoyed working for Dr. Harper and the rest of her team as most of them have known her since she was a little girl! Frankie has been in dentistry since 2014. She got her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certification through the DATS (Dental Assistant Training School) of Ocala program.
Frankie is actively involved in her local community with the South Eastern Youth Fair, Marion County Cattlemen’s Association and her high school (Belleview High) FFA Alumni program. She also enjoys running 5K,10K and half marathons with her mom.
